Pastor Chuck Pelham is the Senior Pastor of New Harvest Church, a position he shares with his wife of 25 years, Karen Pelham.

New Harvest was birthed in January, 1990 and was the first multi-racial church in the community of Clewiston, Florida.  In a God ordained transition, Pastors Chuck and Karen assumed its leadership in July 2001.

Raised in church, Pastor Chuck made his personal commitment to the Lord at the age of 12 and was called to the ministry in 1988.  In 1992 he stepped into ministry as a staff pastor at New Harvest and now today he directs and establishes its vision.

His relentless pursuit of God has opened doors for him to preach and teach the Word of God nationally and internationally.  In his 18 years in the ministry, he has lead several overseas mission trips, including Bolivia, Jamaica, United Kingdom, Poland and Africa.   He has preached the Word of God from the street corner, inside maximum security prisons to pulpits and platforms across the world.

Above all he is a man of faith and this is evident in his preaching and in his life. His preaching gift will not only stir up and motivate the faith of his audience to an uncompromising place in God, but will challenge them to fulfill their destiny in Christ.

His enormous faith has propelled the vision of New Harvest in the past 5 years.  New Harvest Educational Center has been expanded from a preschool and daycare and has seen the addition of an after-school and infant care program.  In fall of 2005 he established Harvest Academy Christian School and in May 2006 graduated its first K-4 class.  He also plans to expand in the future with a kindergarten and first grade classes.

His accomplishments could not be achieved without a dynamic leadership team.  He is a strong advocate of delegation and empowerment.  Pastor Chuck continually seeks out, trains and develops new leaders to fulfill the needs of the vision as it expands.  He is a powerful teacher on leadership and has taught on 21st Century Leadership in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean.

His passion today is the same as it was when he began in ministry, which is to see lives transformed and empowered by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pastors Chuck and Karen were born and raised in Clewiston and continue to reside and serve their community along with their youngest daughter Vanessa, their oldest daughter Brittany, her husband Jesse and their son Landon.
